Job summary

Taskrabbit is seeking a hands-on builder to lead our AI for Work initiative, focusing on internal operations. You will embed within business functions, map workflows, and build Claude-powered agents, automations, and internal tools to dramatically increase efficiency.

Reporting to the Director of AI Strategy and Enablement, you will execute without a dedicated engineering partner, shipping solutions independently and helping teams develop autonomous automation capability over time.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building AI agents, automations, and internal workflows professionally.
• Marketplace or gig-economy company experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to embed with non-technical business teams and translate workflows into automation opportunities.
• Track record of enabling others to build AI capability.
• Experience influencing stakeholders to adopt automation solutions.
• Data-driven approach to measuring impact with baselines and metrics.
• Technical fluency with LLMs and agentic frameworks; production-focused judgment.

Responsibilities

• Discover & diagnose: Embed with business teams to map workflows and surface automation opportunities.
• Build: Design and deploy Claude-powered agents, automations, and internal tools to cut repetitive work.
• Measure: Establish baselines and track business metrics to validate impact.
• Enable: Train non-technical teams to identify, scope, and build their own automations.
• Influence: Translate business problems to technical solutions and align automation priorities with OKRs.
• Scale: Create reusable patterns to replicate successful automations across functions.
