Job summary

Frost seeks an AI Automation Engineer II to drive AI-driven automation across complex banking systems. You’ll design, deploy, and optimize AI solutions, build reusable prompts and workflows, and ensure robust performance and cost controls while collaborating with stakeholders on use cases and success metrics.

You’ll partner in governance and risk reviews, manage token usage, and pursue continuous improvement with integrity and excellence at the core.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of AI, automation, software engineering, or related experience.
• Experience with Python and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases for data extraction and storage.
• Experience integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise platforms.
• Knowledge of responsible AI and model evaluation practices.
• Familiarity with vector embeddings and Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus).
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar LLM orchestration tools.
• Proven ability to design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Knowledge of ML concepts and understanding.
• Azure AI Foundry (preferred), Power Platform, vector databases, and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI automation solutions across multiple interrelated systems
• Develop reusable prompts, workflows, copilots, and intelligent process automations
• Troubleshoot and resolve AI performance, integration, and automation issues
• Improve automation coverage and operational efficiency through AI technologies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI use cases and success metrics
• Participate in governance and risk reviews for AI solutions
• Experience optimizing token usage and tracking LLM API costs
