Job summary

Frost in Texas seeks an AI Automation Engineer II to design and deploy AI automation across interconnected systems, improving reliability and efficiency. You will develop reusable prompts and RAG pipelines, troubleshoot performance, and collaborate with stakeholders to define use cases and metrics.

Bachelor’s in a technical field and 3+ years experience required; Python, LangChain, vector databases familiarity preferred.

• 3+ years in AI, automation, software engineering, or related field.
• Strong Python and AI orchestration experience.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data extraction/storage.
• Experience integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise platforms.
• Knowledge of responsible AI and model evaluation practices.

What you’ll do:

• Design and deploy AI automation solutions across multiple interrelated systems
• Develop reusable prompts, workflows, copilots, and intelligent process automations
• Troubleshoot and resolve AI performance, integration, and automation issues
• Improve automation coverage and operational efficiency through AI technologies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI use cases and success metrics
• Participate in governance and risk reviews for AI solutions
• Experience optimizing token usage and tracking LLM API costs

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of AI, automation, software engineering, or related experience
• Experience with Python and AI orchestration frameworks
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases for data extraction and storage
• Experience integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise platforms
• Knowledge of responsible AI and model evaluation practices
• Familiarity with vector embeddings and Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus)
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar LLM orchestration tools
• Proven ability to design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
• Knowledge of ML concepts and understanding

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform, vector databases, and cloud services
