Job summary

Frost Bank is seeking an AI Automation Engineer II in Texas to design and deploy AI-driven automation across critical banking systems. You will build reusable prompts, workflows, and copilots, while addressing AI performance, cost tracking, and governance.

The role emphasizes responsible AI and collaboration with stakeholders to define impactful AI use cases. You will work on integration with APIs, databases, and enterprise platforms, applying ML concepts and vector database technologies to

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AI, automation, software engineering, or related experience.
• Experience with Python and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases for data extraction and storage.
• Experience integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise platforms.
• Knowledge of responsible AI and model evaluation practices.
• Familiarity with vector embeddings and Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus).
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar LLM orchestration tools.
• Proven ability to design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Knowledge of ML concepts and understanding.
