Job summary

Frost Bank is seeking an AI Automation Engineer II to design and deploy AI-driven automation across banking workflows in Texas. You will develop reusable prompts and intelligent processes, troubleshoot AI performance, and collaborate to define AI use cases and metrics.

The role emphasizes responsible AI, integration across APIs and databases, and optimizing LLM costs while maintaining high standards of integrity and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of AI, automation, software engineering, or related experience.
• Experience with Python and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases for data extraction and storage.
• Experience integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise platforms.
• Knowledge of responsible AI and model evaluation practices.
• Familiarity with vector embeddings and Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus)
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar LLM orchestration tools
• Proven ability to design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
• Knowledge of ML concepts and understanding
