Job summary
PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking an automation-focused engineer to lead AI-enabled infrastructure delivery. You will develop automation for managed services, architect AI strategies, and translate designs into executable tasks for a cross-functional team. A strong background in IT automation and AI technologies is essential.
The role emphasizes hands-on coding in Python and experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployment, and secure API integration to support ERP-related applications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience coding in Python for AI solutions.
- Experience with Ansible, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Experience with Gond or other LM AI frameworks.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on skills building MCP servers and AI agents, including prompt/tool orchestration, API integration, security, and containerized cloud deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop automation solutions for delivery of managed infrastructure services.
- Help architect an AI strategy and implement AI solutions to support the infrastructure and administration of ERP applications.
- Translate high level design into medium level tasks with more technical detail for the team to implement.
- Ensure successful implementation of automation solutions for effective delivery of infrastructure and product solutions to support program schedule.
- Assist with team lead activities by coaching/mentoring other team members, reviewing other teammates' work, and setting team tasks/priorities.
- Very strong knowledge of IT automation and AI technologies.
