Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC seeks an AI-enabled automation tester to design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium, Python, and AI models. The role emphasizes integrating AI-driven solutions, building on VS Code and Databricks, and ensuring secure execution on postal-issued laptops.

The candidate will lead automation efforts, train teammates, and produce comprehensive documentation. Strong SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and extensive Selenium experience are required.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience across the full SDLC with Agile/Scrum.
• Proven ability to plan, develop and deploy automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Strong experience with Selenium-based automation and TestNG.
• Experience using Jenkins, SOAPUI and related CI/CD tools.
• Experience with AI-assisted automation using Python, Databricks and Copilot.
• Excellent communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test automation scripts using Selenium with Python, leveraging AI models and LLMs to accelerate script creation, maintenance, and self healing.
• Build solutions using Visual Studio Code, Python, and related technologies to harness generative AI and LLMs (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Databricks).
• Integrate the existing Python test automation framework with AI-based solutions to improve coverage, reliability, and efficiency.
• Ensure all AI scripts and programs are fully executable on postal-issued laptops within approved security and environment constraints.
• Train designated team members to execute, troubleshoot, and maintain the AI scripts and programs.
• Develop comprehensive training materials and documentation to support knowledge transfer and long-term maintenance.
• Candidates invited for interviews will be required to present working samples of relevant AI-enabled automation work.
