Job summary

Credit Union of Texas welcomes a Teller who will be the frontline ambassador, processing member transactions with accuracy and care. You will listen actively to identify member needs, recommend CUTX products, and contribute to branch sales goals in a security-conscious environment.

You will balance cash daily, provide friendly service, and comply with BSA/AML, CIP, Reg CC, and privacy rules while using CUTX core banking and AI-assisted tools to support your work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) months of cash handling or related experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Prior teller or financial services experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CUTX policies and procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions accurately and efficiently (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, money orders, cashier’s checks).
• Provide exceptional service and identify member needs through active listening.
• Balance cash drawer daily and resolve discrepancies per procedures.
• Cross-sell CUTX products and refer complex needs to specialists when appropriate.
• Follow regulatory and confidentiality requirements (BSA/AML, CIP, Reg CC, privacy).
