StackAdapt is a remote-first technology company enabling marketers to reach, engage, and convert audiences with precision. The AI Art Director sits within Creative Studio, a senior hands-on role combining creative judgment with AI-powered production and storytelling.

You will explore generative technologies, develop high-quality creative approaches, and collaborate across creative and technical teams. The role evolves with AI advances and emphasizes practical knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in creative direction, art direction, filmmaking, cinematography, or advertising.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling and narrative structure.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI image/video technologies.
• Experience building sophisticated AI creative workflows and prompt engineering.
• Ability to translate creative judgment into repeatable workflows.
• Comfort working autonomously in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish and raise the creative quality bar for AI-generated advertising.
• Develop and apply concepts across visual storytelling, composition, lighting, movement, pacing, and editing.
• Create prototypes and reference work with emerging generative tech.
• Design and refine creative workflows, including prompting and model selection.
• Collaborate with Creative Strategy, Production, Product, Engineering, and Data Science.
• Coach and share knowledge with team members on AI-powered capabilities.
• Develop evaluation methods for AI-generated creative quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve advertising creativity and efficiency.
