Job summary

Lenovo’s Intelligent Devices Group (IDG) AI Ecosystem Team seeks a Head of AI Architecture & Innovation to define and deliver the architecture for Lenovo’s next generation AI ecosystem. The role spans cross-device runtimes, hybrid AI execution, orchestration, model runtimes, and platform services.

You will drive design standards for release pipelines, ensure scalable, secure, observable and privacy‑conscious features, mentor senior engineers, and align multiple teams to keep features shipping on

Qualifications

15+ years of software engineering and architecture delivering large-scale systems.
Experience with the full AI stack: surfaces, orchestration, memory, perception, model runtimes.
Proven track record shipping AI-driven or distributed software at scale.
Experience architecting cross-device runtimes (Windows + Android) with cloud integration.

Responsibilities

Own architecture across full software development and delivery cycle for AI experiences.
Ensure features are scalable, secure, observable, and privacy-conscious.
Guide integration of hybrid model execution across local devices and cloud.
Define release engineering standards, pipelines, governance, and rollback mechanisms.
Drive cross-team architectural alignment and pragmatic tradeoffs.
Mentor senior engineers and ICs across the org.
