Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Long Beach, CA, seeks an experienced AI Architect/Developer hybrid to design scalable AI ecosystems and production-grade solutions, translating business needs into robust architectures and modular code.

You will lead AI delivery, tune models, integrate with enterprise software, uphold security and data governance, and mentor junior staff within an Agile framework.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing enterprise AI/ML architectures.
• Experience building scalable ML infrastructure (on-prem/cloud hybrid/multi-cloud).
• Ability to evaluate and select LLMs/ML models for latency, cost and accuracy.
• Proficient in Python ecosystems (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and REST APIs.
• CI/CD for AI, model versioning and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into robust, high-performance AI blueprints.
• Write clean, modular production code for AI solutions.
• Tune models via quantization and pruning to meet performance targets.
• Lead developers; mentor juniors; enforce code quality and security.
• Work in Agile/Scrum with frequent delivery milestones.
