Capgemini Engineering is seeking an AI Architect/Developer to bridge AI strategy and production-ready solutions. You will design scalable AI ecosystems, select model architectures, and contribute to pipelines and integrations. This hybrid Long Beach-based role emphasizes secure, high-performance AI platforms across cloud environments.

You will lead and mentor teams, deliver robust code, and ensure data privacy while aligning with Agile milestones and architectural documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable ML infrastructure across on-prem, cloud-hybrid, or multi-cloud environments.
• 10+ years delivering enterprise AI/ML architectures and platforms.
• Ability to select suitable LLMs/SLMs/models based on latency, cost, and accuracy.
• Integrate AI services with security, governance, and data-privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into robust AI architectural blueprints.
• Write clean, modular production code.
• Tune, quantize, and prune models to meet performance thresholds.
• Lead development and mentor junior staff on best practices.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum framework with delivery milestones.
• Document data flows and API specifications.
• Ensure secure AI development practices and data privacy.
