Job summary

BankUnited in the United States is seeking an AI Architect Lead to shape strategy and guide technical assessment across the organization. You will engage with department heads, executives, risk and compliance to define AI use cases and align them with the bank's strategic AI roadmap.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to implement AI-enabled applications, lead PoCs, and help mature the AI framework while ensuring governance, security, and regulatory alignment across business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, statistics, or data science.
• 7–9 years translating business requirements into technical specs.
• Experience in AI architecture and governance.

Responsibilities

• Identify AI opportunities across the bank to improve processes.
• Lead PoCs to prove value of AI solutions.
• Define AI architecture frameworks and patterns for reuse.
• Ensure AI solutions align with risk, compliance, and security.
