Job summary

Blackstone is seeking an AI Engineer to join the Data Analytics & AI team in New York. You will collaborate with business units to understand workflows and identify AI-led opportunities to accelerate adoption of data-driven solutions.

You will build and ship software using Python and SQL, develop applied AI solutions, and mentor teams through training sessions. A strong track record of delivering production systems and communicating with non-technical stakeholders is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in AI engineering, software engineering, or data analysis.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data interaction.
• Experience with LLMs and AI tooling.
• Proven track record of shipping production systems.
• Ability to work with non-technical business stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business units to understand workflows.
• Identify and prioritize quick wins and larger projects.
• Develop and maintain software solutions using Python and SQL.
• Build applied AI solutions and promote their use across the firm.
• Lead training sessions for technology and business teams.
