Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. is seeking an AI Engineer to join BXTI's Data Analytics & AI team, accelerating enterprise AI adoption across Private Equity, Real Estate, and Private Wealth. You will shadow workflows, translate friction into AI initiatives, and deliver production-grade software using Python and SQL.

You will deploy using Git, CI/CD, Docker, and Terraform while promoting a data-driven culture through talks and training to both technology and business teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in AI/engineering/data role with Python and SQL.
• Applied experience with LLMs and AI tooling (fine-tuning, prompts, retrieval, evaluation).
• Experience shipping production systems under real user load (not prototypes).
• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Embed with business units—shadow live workflows and engage AI power users.
• Translate workflow friction into a pipeline of AI initiatives after validating demand.
• Develop and maintain production software using Python and SQL with quality, scalability, security.
• Follow deployment best practices: Git, CI/CD, Docker, Terraform for cloud deployments.
• Build and extend AI solutions and scale adoption via self-service runbooks and prompts.
• Promote data analytics culture with talks and training for tech and business teams.
• Lead multiple projects and transition PoCs to production deployments.
