Job summary

Happen Bank, a hybrid finance employer, is hiring a Deposit Operations Associate based in Lehi, UT or Boston, MA. You will process mobile deposits, resolve check exceptions, and reconcile deposit/ATM accounts while ensuring accuracy and timeliness across personal and commercial accounts.

The role emphasizes taking ownership, delivering empathetic service, and leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency in a fast-paced back-office environment. Travel is occasional as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in operations, retail customer service, banking, or a call center environment; high school diploma or GED
• Ownership of customer concerns and first-contact resolution
• Able to adapt quickly in fast-paced back-office environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM, and Miser platforms
• Interest in AI tools to improve accuracy
• Timely and reliable with clear communication

Responsibilities

• Process mobile deposits, check exceptions, and ATM settlement and posting, catching issues early
• Complete online account transactions, openings, and service requests for personal and commercial customers, plus levies and garnishments
• Reconcile and balance deposit and ATM-related GL accounts and support audits with accurate records
• Apply knowledge of deposit products, procedures, and regulatory requirements to deliver professional service
• Use AI-assisted tools to move routine tasks faster and free up time for higher-judgment calls
• Meet monthly quality and service standards and participate in additional projects as needed
