Job summary

Rainforest, a payments-as-a-service startup in Atlanta, is seeking a deeply technical Product Manager for our AI & Agents team. You’ll own the agentic products that help vertical SaaS platforms run and grow their payments programs.

This isn't a traditional PM role. We need someone who understands how agentic products are built from the inside: the harness around the model, the tools it calls, the memory it keeps, and the evaluations that prove it's getting better.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building agentic products, tool use, memory, prompt assembly and evaluation.
• Deep knowledge of the LLM landscape, frontier/open-weight models and where they perform well.
• Daily fluency with AI coding tools and ability to make real code changes.
• Experience building evals/regression suites for LLM-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Own product direction for our agent harness, including knowledge, skills, and tools.
• Define and build evaluation, regression testing, and telemetry to keep agents accurate as models/prompts change.
• Tune agent behavior hands‑on, from prompts to knowledge base to skills, with eng partner input.
• Drive model selection and routing across multiple LLMs, balancing capability, latency, and cost.
• Design how clients' agents interoperate with Rainforest via MCP and agent-to-agent communication.
• Make product changes directly using AI coding tools and ship them with engineers.
• Serve as an internal thought leader on AI and agents across Rainforest.
• Represent agentic products externally with clients and the broader market.
