Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking an intern for the Core Data Center Business Unit to support AI-assisted initiatives, analytics, and automation across customer qualification processes.

You will work with Technical Customer Managers and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, improve operational efficiency, and promote standard methodologies globally. This role provides hands-on experience applying AI in real-world business challenges with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting data and developing actionable recommendations.
• Experience with reporting, data analysis, process improvement, automation, or operational excellence initiatives through academic, internship, or project work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
• Familiarity with AI, Artificial Intelligence, or AI-Assisted tools used for business analysis, process optimization, reporting, or productivity improvements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Technical Customer Management workflows and find opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, decision-making, and execution through AI-Enabled solutions, analytics, and automation.
• Develop and support pilot implementations of Artificial Intelligence, automation, reporting, and digital tools that enhance customer qualification execution, milestone tracking, risk management, and operational effectiveness.
• Build dashboards, reports, and business insights that provide access to customer qualification schedules, risks, operational metrics, and key business priorities.
• Collaborate with Technical Customer Managers and multi-functional collaborators to streamline processes, improve information flow, and accelerate data-driven business decisions using AI-Assisted methodologies.
• Measure, communicate, and document business impact through operational metrics, adoption tracking, executive reporting, reusable workflows, training materials, and established guidelines.
