Job summary

rounx.com is seeking a Summer 2027 Intern - Software Engineer to contribute to real projects that shape our business, with opportunities to work on AI-powered solutions and agentic technologies.

You will be mentored by experienced engineers, participate in onboarding and professional development activities such as workshops, speaker series, and ERGs, and collaborate on coding and problem-solving tasks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in CS or related field at a North American university.
• Strong knowledge of OOP, algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, SQL and web technologies.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Candidates should be currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science or related field, enrolled in a North American university, and have strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures. Experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code is a plus, along with an AI-first mindset. Additional qualifications include proficiency in Java, JavaScript, SQL, and web technologies, as well as strong communication and analytical skills. The typical base salary range for this position is $43–$52 per hour.
