Job summary

Cogniify, Inc. in San Francisco, CA is seeking an AI & Agentic Engineer II to design, build and deploy production-grade agentic applications that automate multi-step IT and business workflows.

You will turn prototypes into hardened services and build CI/CD pipelines, evaluation harnesses and observability for AI workloads. You will lead reviews, promote secure-by-design and responsible AI practices, and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years with a Master's degree is acceptable in lieu of 5+ years experience.
• Hands-on with LLM-enabled applications and API integrations.
• Experience with security and data governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end agentic applications and multi-agent workflows.
• Turn prototypes into production-ready services with tests.
• Build CI/CD pipelines, evaluation harnesses and observability.
• Lead prompt, specification and code reviews.
• Promote secure-by-design and responsible AI practices.
• Contribute reusable components and libraries.
• Partner with product, security and platform teams.
