Job summary

Talentify in Foster City, CA is seeking an AI Engineer to design and ship agentic systems end-to-end, spanning interfaces, deployment, observability, and iteration. This is a production-focused role, not a research or prompt-engineering position.

You will build MCP servers and architect agentic workflows, develop AI connectors with customers, and own the full lifecycle including API design, deployment, monitoring, and reliability. Collaboration with product and customers is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of software engineering with end-to-end production systems.
• Strong Python backend fundamentals; fullstack capabilities are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with LLM-powered agents in production environments.
• Familiarity with MCP servers or AI connector integrations.
• Experience using evals to validate agent behavior.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship MCP servers exposing data and analytics as tools.
• Architect and ship agentic workflows with multi-step reasoning and tool use.
• Develop AI connectors integrating with external agents and clients.
• Own the full lifecycle—from API design to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product Builders, design, and customers to ship working software.
