The role focuses on TypeScript/Node backend development, API design, and building observability tools to boost AI agent performance in fast-growing environments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend or infrastructure software engineering experience.
• Strong programming experience with TypeScript / Node.
• Bonus if you work with Go, Java, Kotlin, or Rust.
• Strong knowledge of API design, relational databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience in high-growth startups or technically demanding engineering environments.
• Comfortable using AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.
• Computer Science degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a high-calibre engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale backend services and infrastructure using TypeScript.
• Build reliable APIs, background jobs, and event-driven systems.
• Develop evaluation, monitoring, and observability tools to improve AI agent performance.
• Improve system reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build reusable platform capabilities.
