Job summary

EVERSANA in New York is seeking a Mid-Level AI / Agent Application Engineer to build the organization’s next-generation agent workforce. You will develop agents, APIs, and data pipelines under the Chief AI & Analytics Officer, enabling secure tool calls to internal databases and APIs.

You will design scalable multi-agent architectures, optimize data flows, and address AI security risks while collaborating with enterprise teams across the company.

Qualifications

• PhD in CS or closely related field.
• 7+ years software engineering experience with 3+ years in generative AI/LLMs.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with multi-agent architectures and MCP patterns.
• Extensive experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini).
• Familiarity with vector/graph databases and RAG architectures.
• Strong cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement scalable, multi-agent systems for complex processes.
• Translate processes and develop multi-agent architectures for new opportunities.
• Design secure tool-calling architectures for internal data access.
• Mitigate AI security risks like prompt injection and hallucinations.
• Demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion in development.
• All other duties as assigned.
