Job summary

Seneca Resources is seeking an AI Agent Developer for a hybrid New York, NY contract role. You will build and support enterprise AI agents, integrate with cloud services, and develop web interfaces.

The position covers full-stack tasks, testing, and CI/CD, with collaboration across senior engineers in a SAFe environment. It offers exposure to large-scale integrations and modern software practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficient in Python with REST APIs and JSON.
• Working knowledge of .NET and front-end tech (HTML, CSS, JS/TS).
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, MCP.
• SQL query-writing skills; Git and IDE like VS Code.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (PyTest, Jest, xUnit).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, written communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and support enterprise conversational AI agents using Dialogflow CX.
• Develop REST APIs, webhooks, and backend services in Python with exposure to .NET/Node.js.
• Integrate conversational AI agents with ServiceNow and Microsoft Azure.
• Develop responsive, accessible web interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Maintain Azure DevOps pipelines and YAML configurations; execute tests and CI/CD tasks.
• Write unit tests and API tests; conduct regression testing for AI and frontend components.
• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies and maintain runbooks and documentation.
