Job summary

Duckie is hiring an AI Agent Engineer to own live deployments and performance of AI agents in customer support. You will embed with customers, tune agents, and build integrations with Zendesk, Intercom, and internal systems to deliver real value.

This hybrid role combines engineering, AI building, and customer partnership. You’ll translate customer needs into working deployments and drive outcomes from day one.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a technical, customer-facing role such as forward deployed / solutions / implementation engineering.
• Comfortable writing code, working with REST APIs, and building/end-to-end integrations.
• Experience with LLMs or a strong aptitude to dive deep quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end implementation of Duckie for new customers from kickoff to a live AI agent.
• Configure, test, and tune AI agents to hit resolution targets using real ticket data.
• Build and validate integrations with customer systems (Zendesk, Intercom, internal APIs, knowledge bases).
• Partner with customer stakeholders to define success criteria and drive outcomes.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to expand accounts and maintain high customer satisfaction.
