Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Migration & Modernization Partner Solutions Architect to drive strategies that accelerate customer migrations and modernization within our partner ecosystem.

You will work directly with ISV and SI partners to design AI-powered migration solutions across Windows/.NET, SQL Server, and virtualized environments on AWS. In this hands-on, partner-facing role you will embed with partners and customer engagements, write code, build integrations, and troubleshoot

Qualifications

• 3+ years design/implementation/consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 6+ years in technology domain areas (software development, cloud, systems engineering, security, data & analytics).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and validate AI-powered migration and modernization solutions across .NET, SQL Server, and virtualized/VMware workloads using AWS Transform and AWS services.
• Embed hands-on with ISV and SI partners (forward-deployed engineering) - writing code, building integrations, and unblocking live migrations, then turning field learnings into repeatable, reusable patterns.
• Design GenAI and agentic AI architectures - RAG pipelines, multi-agent orchestration, automated code analysis and refactoring, and dependency mapping.
• Enable partners to integrate AWS Transform APIs into their platforms and layer GenAI on top; guide foundation model selection, prompt engineering, and GenAIOps.
• Collaborate with the AWS Transform service team and cross-functional AWS teams to scale partner-led programs and inform the product roadmap.
• Publish reference architectures, technical content, and thought leadership; enable the broader SA and partner community.
