Job summary

Pilbara Minerals Limited in Western Australia is seeking a Learning & Development Coordinator to plan, coordinate and deliver training for the Autonomous Haulage System (AHS). You will ensure personnel are trained, assessed and prepared to operate safely in an autonomous mining environment.

Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will develop the competency framework, schedule trainings, coordinate vendors and track progress, attendance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large training projects in mining or heavy industry.
• Knowledge of autonomous mining technology implementations is highly desirable.
• Strong change-management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with LMS platforms and training assessment processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the AHS training and competency strategy.
• Plan and coordinate training schedules, resources, facilities, and materials.
• Identify training needs and competency requirements across roles.
• Lead training delivery for operators, supervisors, maintenance teams, trainers and support functions.
• Coordinate vendor and SME involvement in training activities.
• Monitor attendance and training compliance documentation.
• Provide regular updates on readiness, risks, and progress.
• Support change management to drive workforce adoption of AHS.
• Develop assessment processes and ensure competency prior to operation.
• Promote safe work practices in autonomous operating zones and emergency response.
