Job summary

Pilbara Minerals Limited is seeking an experienced Training & Development professional to lead the Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) training program. You will plan, coordinate, and deliver training to ensure readiness and safety in an autonomous mining environment.

Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will assess competency, manage schedules, and coordinate stakeholders to drive adoption of AHS technology across operations. A strong safety mindset and PM skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale operational or technology-related training projects.
• Experience supporting Autonomous Haulage Systems or autonomous mining technology implementations.
• Experience in INX LMS is highly regarded.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and Project Management qualifications are highly regarded.
• Experience in change management with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver AHS training and competency strategy for operational readiness.
• Plan and coordinate training schedules, resources, facilities, equipment and learning materials.
• Identify training needs and competency requirements across impacted roles.
• Lead training delivery for operators, supervisors, maintenance teams, trainers and support functions.
• Coordinate vendor, SME and stakeholder involvement in training activities.
• Monitor attendance, progress, competency achievement and training documentation.
• Provide regular updates on training readiness, risks, issues and progress.
• Support change management to drive workforce adoption of AHS technology.
• Develop assessment processes and ensure personnel meet competency standards before operating.
• Promote safe work practices and training supports autonomous operating zones and emergency response.
