Job summary

Nakupuna Companies is seeking a full-time Asbestos Management Planner to join our DoWEA Team. The candidate will be the primary technical authority for the AHERA program across DoWEA educational campuses.

This role is responsible for authoring, revising, and maintaining the centralized Asbestos Management Plans (AMPs) that dictate how asbestos-containing materials are safely managed across 45 school campuses on 21 U.S.

Qualifications

• Active EPA/AHERA certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience authoring, revising, and signing AMPs for educational/institutional facilities.
• Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Author, revise, and sign comprehensive AMPs for DoWEA facilities.
• Oversee AHERA Inspectors and interpret lab data for actions.
• Prepare and finalize AHERA inspections and reports within regulatory timelines.
• Maintain and update the DoWEA AHERA Management Portal and reports.
