Job summary

Nakupuna Companies seeks a full-time Asbestos Management Planner to lead the AHERA program across DoWEA campuses in the Pacific region. You will author, update, and maintain central AMPs, and supervise inspectors to ensure compliant hazardous material management at 45 facilities across multiple installations.

Required credentials include EPA/AHERA certification and a Bachelor’s degree, with at least five years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Active EPA/AHERA Certification required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred to support broader duties.
• Minimum of five years of experience authoring, revising, and signing AMPs for facilities.

Responsibilities

• Author, revise, and sign comprehensive AMPs for DoWEA facilities.
• Direct AHERA Inspectors and utilize lab data to determine actions.
• Review lab results, ensuring compliance with standards and TEM analysis when needed.
• Prepare and finalize 30-Day and Final AHERA Reports per EPA rules.
• Conduct annual regulatory reviews and manage AFLs for updates.
• Serve as SME for environmental inquiries and provide timely responses.
• Coordinate quarterly AHERA meetings and deliver agendas and minutes.
