Job summary

Vivid Machines is seeking an AgTech Field Technician based in Rochester, NY. This role will involve fieldwork at farms in Lyndonville and Williamson, combined with remote data analysis. You'll support fruit growers by collecting growth data while assisting in understanding insights for better operations.

Ideal candidates are passionate about agriculture technology, have a strong background in plant physiology, and excellent data analysis skills. You'll work outdoors while traveling frequently and will receive comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Comfortable working outdoors and able to travel to farm sites.
• Passion for supporting customers in agricultural settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field trials to test technology at various growth stages.
• Capture images and manually collect data on plant physiology.
• Act as an expert on plant physiology and disease issues.
• Advise on product requirements from customer feedback.
• Annotate data frames collected from the field.
