Job summary

Ray-Carroll County Grain Growers, Inc. in Mayview, MO, is seeking a Sales Agronomist to drive sales of seed, fertilizer, crop protection products, and agronomy services across an assigned territory.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of agronomic inputs and crop production.
• Ability to assess customer needs and tailor solutions.
• Understanding of credit and pricing policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a current list of customers and prospects; evaluate potential operation size and creditworthiness.
• Conduct sales calls throughout assigned territories; build long-term relationships to generate sales of seed, fertilizer, crop protection products, and agronomy services.
• Utilize company programs, products, and services to sell agronomy products.
• Coordinate with lenders and Ray-Carroll Accounting for timely submissions and billing terms.
• Maintain accurate pricing and discounts on transactions with customers.
• Collaborate with location accounting to ensure proper billing and terms.
• Grow sales with existing customers and attract new business.
• Establish and achieve sales goals aligned with Ray-Carroll objectives.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and management to resolve product or service issues.
