Job summary

MKC seeks an Operations Sales Specialist Intern to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of agronomy operations and customer-facing sales support. You will be embedded at a Midwest Fertilizer location, working with operations and sales teams to assist farmer/owners and deliver products and services for a safe, reliable food supply.

Responsibilities

• Exposure to agronomy operations, including fertilizer handling, plant operations and safety practices.
• Support of sales and service activities, including customer interactions and product/service coordination.
• Understand how agronomy recommendations, logistics and customer relationships come together.
• Participate in location-based projects focused on customer service, safety, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Gain insight into how MKC serves its farmer/owners and end users across the agronomy value chain.
