Job summary

MKC is seeking a 2027 Summer Intern - Agronomy Sales. The intern will spend the summer gaining experience in building relationships with farmer owners and assisting in decision-making activities for production agriculture.

You will learn valuable agronomy knowledge while planting test plots, collecting data, updating and tracking progression of the growing season. Our Strategic Account Managers will mentor you in learning the sales process and growing your skills.

Qualifications

• Desire to build relationships, willingness to learn about technology, and the desire to work independently at times are requirements for this role.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in how MKC builds relationships with farmer owners and assists in decision-making for production agriculture.
• Learn agronomy knowledge while planting test plots, collecting data, updating and tracking progression of the growing season.
• Interact with Strategic Account Managers to learn the sales process and grow skills in maximizing productivity and profitability for MKC farmer owners.
