Job summary

GROWMARK is seeking an Agronomy Operations intern to learn the foundations of the system and industry by training under location management. You will gain hands-on experience in agronomy field operations and assist with facility maintenance, customer relationships, and field scouting using crop monitoring equipment.

Requirements include pursuing a degree, ability to obtain a CDL and commercial applicator license, and willingness to travel and lift up to 70 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree or certification from a college or university.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to obtain a CDL and commercial applicator license with endorsements.
• Must be able to travel independently and overnight when necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visit FS locations and customers building professional relationships.
• Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment for scouting.
• Apply crop nutrition and crop protection products.
