Job summary

InsightFS is seeking an Agronomy Operations intern to learn the fundamentals of the system and the agronomy industry under location management. The role provides hands‑on experience in field operations and will train the intern in core processes while preparing for a future career.

The internship includes assisting with facility and equipment maintenance, visiting locations and customers, operating field research tools, applying crop nutrition and crop protection products, and developing skills

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree or certification from a community college, technical college or university and in good academic standing at time internship begins.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and strong communication skills.
• Ability to travel independently and lift heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Hands‑on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visit FS locations and customers building professional relationships.
• Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment for scouting.
• Apply crop nutrition and crop protection products.
• Gain understanding and experience with ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
