Job summary

CHS Inc. in Holdrege, Nebraska is seeking an Agronomy Operations Intern for Summer 2027. You will work closely with customers to deliver service and insights, gaining hands-on experience in agronomy operations.

The internship may start as early as Spring 2027, depending on business needs and your availability, and extend through the summer. You will learn scouting, crop protection concepts, and inventory practices while earning competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.
• Agriculture experience or background knowledge helpful.
• Previous internship experience helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge of general agronomy skills including scouting and crop protection products.
• Perform all agronomy/seed operations.
• Monitor and maintain inventory quality.
• Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for agronomy equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed.
• Work in compliance with state, local, CHS Environmental and Safety policy.
