CHS Inc. is seeking an Agronomy Sales Intern in Holdrege, NE for Summer 2027.

You will work alongside experienced professionals, support agronomy sales teams, and gain hands-on experience with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field problem solving. This paid internship offers a practical learning environment, mentorship from industry experts, and opportunities to apply Agronomy knowledge, learn Agris invoicing, inventory, and product delivery, while developing customer service and communication

Qualifications

Currently pursuing an agriculture-related degree required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
Agriculture experience or internship helpful.

Responsibilities

Assist Agronomy Sales Representative with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field agronomic problem solving.
Design, monitor, and summarize farm trails to provide valuable information to customers and the agronomy team.
Use integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
Generate written reports and present them to supervisor and/or customer.
Learn the features and benefits of all agronomy products and services, assist with over-the-counter sales, and assist with product delivery to customers.
Learn to perform warehouse and agronomy plant operations.
Learn and utilize Agris for invoicing and inventory management.
Assist in inventory management procedures.
Learn how to maintain equipment and facilities.
Work in an environment compliant with state, local, CHS Environmental and Safety policy.
Custom application if qualified and/or if the need arises.
Assist other departments as needed.
