CHS Inc. offers an Agronomy Sales Intern position in Holdrege, NE for Summer 2027. The internship provides hands-on experience with customers, agronomy knowledge, and mentorship from experienced professionals.

As an intern, you will assist with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field problem solving, while learning to use Agris for invoicing and inventory management and gaining exposure to product delivery and sales support activities.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program.
Proficient with Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

Assist Agronomy Sales Representative with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field agronomic problem solving.
Design, monitor, and summarize trials to provide information to customers and the agronomy team.
Use integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
Generate written reports and present findings to supervisor and customer.
Learn features and benefits of agronomy products and services, assist with over-the-counter sales and product delivery.
Learn to perform warehouse and agronomy plant operations and use Agris for invoicing and inventory management.
Assist in inventory management procedures and maintain equipment and facilities.
Work in a safe environment compliant with CHS Environmental and Safety policy.
