Job summary

CHS Inc. seeks a detail oriented Agronomy Sales Intern in Wausa, NE for Summer 2027. You will work closely with our customers, delivering agronomy expertise and exceptional service. The internship can start as early as Spring 2027, with opportunities to extend through the summer.

You will learn agronomy products, assist with soil sampling, crop scouting and farm trail design, and gain hands‑on experience while interacting with CHS producers and the agronomy team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Assist Agronomy Sales Rep with crop scouting, soil sampling and field agronomic problem solving.
• Design, monitor and summarize farm trials to provide information to customers and agronomy team.
• Use integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
• Generate written reports and present them to supervisor or customer.
• Learn features and benefits of agronomy products and services and assist with over‑the‑counter sales and product delivery.
