Job summary

CHS Inc. in Holdrege, NE is seeking an Agronomy Sales Intern for Summer 2027. You will work closely with customers, delivering agronomy expertise and exceptional service while gaining hands-on experience in the field.

You will assist a seasoned Agronomy Sales Representative with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field problem solving, and you will learn to use our Agris system for invoicing and inventory management. This internship offers mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture related degree program.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Previous internship experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist Agronomy Sales Representative with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field agronomic problem solving.
• Design, monitor, and summarize farm trails to provide valuable information to customers and the agronomy team.
• Use integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
• Generate written reports and present them to supervisor and/or customer.
• Learn the features and benefits of all agronomy products and services and assist with over-the-counter sales.
• Learn and utilize Agris for invoicing and inventory management; assist in inventory procedures.
