Job summary

AgVantage FS is inviting applicants for the Exploring Agriculture Agronomy Operations Intern position to gain hands-on experience in agronomy operations under location management for Spring/Summer 2027.

You will train and assist with general agronomy functions to understand the FS and GROWMARK System, the agriculture industry, and to prepare for a future career in agriculture. Duration is 9–10 weeks, with travel and field duties expected.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or certificate; in good academic standing at start of internship.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visit locations and customers building professional relationships.
• Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment for scouting.
• Apply crop nutrition and crop protection products.
• Learn ordering, receiving, and inventory control processes.
