Job summary

AgVantage FS in Garner, IA, part of the GROWMARK System, seeks an Exploring Agriculture Agronomy Operations Intern for Spring/Summer 2027. You will train and assist with general agronomy functions to learn the FS and GROWMARK system, the agriculture industry, and prepare for a future career.

You will gain hands-on experience in field operations, equipment maintenance, crop scouting, and inventory control while building professional relationships with customers and location management.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or certificate in agriculture or related field.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Demonstrates communication and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assists with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visits FS locations and customers building professional relationships.
• Operates field research and crop monitoring equipment and technology for scouting.
• Applies crop nutrition and crop protection products.
• Gains understanding of ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
