Job summary

Heritage FS, Inc. offers an Exploring Agriculture Intern role for the Summer of 2027. You will train in agronomy operations, assist with field activities, maintenance, and inventory control while visiting FS locations and customers to build professional relationships.

The internship provides hands-on experience, exposure to the Growmark system, and the chance to learn crop nutrition and protection techniques under supervision. Evening orientation and a 9–10 week schedule are included.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree or certification from a college or university.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel, CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assists with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visits FS locations and customers building professional relationships.
• Operates field research and crop monitoring equipment and technology for scouting.
• Applies crop nutrition and crop protection products.
