FS System is seeking an Exploring Agriculture Agronomy Operations Intern to gain hands-on experience in field operations and agronomy. You will train under location management and support maintenance, inventory, and customer relationships.

The program emphasizes practical field work, safety, and readiness for a career in the agronomy industry, with participation in internship events and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree or certification at a college or university.
• Must have ability to obtain CDL and commercial applicator’s license.
• Must be able to travel and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work in varied weather and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visit FS locations and customers, building professional relationships.
• Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment and technology for scouting.
• Apply crop nutrition and crop protection products.
• Gain understanding and experience with ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
