Job summary

FS (GrowMARK System) invites qualified students to join the Exploring Agriculture Agronomy Operations Internship for Summer 2027. This FT internship offers hands-on experience in agronomy operations, field work, and facility maintenance across FS locations.

Participants train under location management for 9–10 weeks, with a May 17–18 orientation in Bloomington, IL. A 401(k) plan is offered; background checks and driving eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree or certification and in good academic standing at start date.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel and learn across locations.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assists with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visits FS locations and customers building professional relationships.
• Operates field research and crop monitoring equipment for scouting.
• Applies crop nutrition and crop protection products.
• Gains understanding of ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
