Job summary

AgVantage FS is offering an Exploring Agriculture Agronomy Operations Internship for Spring/Summer 2027. You will train under location management, gaining hands-on experience in agronomy, field operations, and customer relationships within a cooperative system.

Participation requires pursuing a degree, willingness to travel, and the potential to obtain a CDL and commercial applicator license with endorsements. Reports weekly and focuses on improving operational efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree or certification and in good academic standing at internship start.
• Preferred first or second year of college at time of internship.
• Ability to obtain CDL and commercial applicator’s license with endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Gains hands-on agronomy field and operations experience.
• Assists with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Builds professional relationships by visiting FS locations and customers.
• Operates field research and crop monitoring equipment and technology.
• Applies crop nutrition and crop protection products.
• Gains understanding of ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
