Primary Purpose Of Organizational Unit

The Department of Athletics exists to provide educational and athletic opportunities to young men and women, to provide an environment for student‑athletes to learn, advance and excel both academically and athletically, and to serve the interests of the University by complimenting and enhancing its diversity and quality of life. Position Summary

This position(s) involve general golf course maintenance work; operating and maintaining as assigned landscaping equipment, including but not limited to turf mowing equipment, edger, weed-eaters, blowers, etc. Hand spraying and assisting in fertility applications. Selected candidates must report to work at required times and maintain responsible attendance record.

Minimum Education And Experience Requirements

Graduation from high school and some experience in horticultural work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Special Licensure or Certification: May require North Carolina Pesticide License

Management Preferences

General golf course maintenance experience.

Special Physical/Mental Requirements

• Ability to move 20 lbs. or more with or without accommodation.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
