Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a Supervisor to lead maintenance, warehouse, delivery and daily operations at SGS Retail - Pocomoke City. You will train, supervise, and coach crew members, optimize resources, ensure safety compliance, and support equipment planning and facility improvements.

Qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent experience, warehouse inventory control, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Microsoft Word/Excel experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Warehouse management experience including inventory control.
• Experience in Agriculture industry preferred.
• Experience with row crops highly preferred.
• Interpersonal, communication and customer service skills; ability to maximize productivity within a team.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and performs equipment and plant maintenance work, loading and delivery of product to customers, receiving and unloading, warehouse inventory and storage functions, and/or duties related to the appropriate application of chemical and fertilizer products.
• Ensures manpower needs for functional area by selecting, coaching, training, and managing performance of crew; monitors safety policies and procedures.
• Assists management in planning equipment purchases and facility improvement.
• Performs recordkeeping functions related to inventory, scheduling, parts ordering, employee files, etc.
