Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our high-throughput Seed Quality Testing laboratory team. As a key player in supporting our Row Crop Production Organization, you will be responsible for various essential laboratory tasks to ensure the highest standards of seed quality through rigorous testing and analysis. The role involves working under the supervision, with tasks varying based on production seasons and daily laboratory needs.

Responsibilities:

- Operate laboratory equipment to generate accurate data.

- Assist in receiving and inspecting raw materials, as well as ordering and stocking supplies.

- Follow established instructions and guidelines for effective performance of laboratory tasks.

- Utilize standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field to ensure quality results.

- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment under FTE guidance.

Skills:

- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.

- Capability to stand for extended periods (4-6 hours) while performing tasks.

- Proficiency in conducting repetitive tasks with hands, wrists, and arms.

Qualifications:

Education Requirement(s):

- Minimum of an associate degree in a scientific field

Preferences:

- Experience in fast-paced and/or team-oriented environments is preferred.

- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and general lab procedures.
